What I Always Travel With

These are the travel items that have earned a permanent spot in my suitcase. I don’t believe you need every travel gadget out there. This is simply what works for me and makes travel easier, more comfortable, and less stressful.

Compression cubes made me overpack which makes my bag heavier. Regular packing cubes keep me organized without overstuffing my bag.
I love that this bag opens flat, so I can access everything without digging to the bottom. It's also clear, so I can quickly find what I need without even opening it.
These are small with secure lids that stay closed in transit. You never use as much as you think you will, so small works better.
One adapter works in multiple countries and Anker is one of the best brands out there.
I prefer a combination lock over a key because there's nothing to keep track of and this one only has three digits.
I bought one to try, but I found it wasn't for me. That said, I have friends who travel with one and wouldn't leave home without it.
I didn’t think much about these until my mid-50s when I started noticing swelling in my feet and ankles on long flights. Now I don’t fly without them.
I’ve tried other neck pillows, but this is the only one that actually works for me. It gives my neck proper support so I can rest instead of constantly adjusting.
Larger and stronger than most travel wipes and individually wrapped. Just tuck a few into a pocket and you're never without toilet paper.
